Why will this site not just multiply my CGPA by 9.5?
Because that is not an Indian university rule. It was a CBSE Class 10 indication, later withdrawn as the board moved back to marks. Applying it to VTU, Mumbai, JNTUH or IIT Madras is how students file the wrong number.
How many universities are supported?
Only the schemes we could verify from official PDFs or university pages in the 22 September 2026 audit: Mumbai University, VTU, BIT Bangalore (VTU R5), JNTUH, GTU, SPPU, KTU, IIT Madras, plus Anna University as a no-formula case. A short accurate list is the point.
Is percentage to CGPA official?
It is offered only as the algebraic inverse of a published linear formula. Mumbai’s “next full integer” rounding means the reverse is indicative. Always prefer the CGPA printed on the grade card.
Do you store the numbers I type?
No. Conversion is client-side. Share links keep the values in the URL on your device. See the privacy page.
Can I add my university?
Yes, if you can point to an official circular or regulation PDF. Use the contact page. We will not add a formula from a memory, a WhatsApp forward, or another calculator.
Is this an official university website?
No. FormulaCGPA is an independent static reference. Official documents remain on the university domains linked in each result.
