Methodology and source policy

FormulaCGPA is a citation engine that happens to do arithmetic. The conversion is the last step, not the first.

Inclusion rule

A scheme is shipped as an official formula only when every item below is true:

  1. The formula appears in a circular, regulation, ordinance, or signed letter on an official university or institute domain, or a PDF those offices published.
  2. The file has a document date, issuer, and a scheme or regulation year we can name.
  3. The text states a conversion to percentage, not merely how SGPA is computed.
  4. We recorded an excerpt, a last-verified date, and a valid input range.
  5. Unit tests cover official illustrations, range edges, and scheme switching.

Exclusion rule

Coaching blogs, SEO calculators, and aggregator sites are not sources. cgpaconverter.in and cgpatools.com are listed here only as contrast: they demonstrate the market for a one-box converter. FormulaCGPA does not cite them for any equation.

If a popular university has no published conversion, we either omit it or show “No official conversion published.” Anna University is the worked example of the second path.
