Is there one CGPA-to-percentage formula for all Indian universities?
No. There is no universal conversion. CBSE’s old Class 10 multiplier of 9.5 is a board rule, not a university rule, and FormulaCGPA never applies it silently.
What if my university is missing?
If we cannot quote an official circular or regulation, the institution is excluded or listed as “No official conversion published.” Use the labelled unofficial custom formula only as a working figure.
Can I convert percentage back to CGPA?
Only when the official formula is linear and reversible. The reverse equation is shown on the result. Mumbai’s rounding to the next integer means the reverse is approximate.
