% of Marks = (final CGPA − 0.5) × 10
Reverse: CGPA = (Percentage ÷ 10) + 0.5
R22 uses the final CGPA of the completed programme. The regulations say the formula “may be used” for an equivalent percentage. A minimum CGPA of 5.00 is required to pass the undergraduate programme. Do not substitute VTU’s 0.75 offset or CBSE’s 9.5 multiplier.

For final percentage of marks equivalent to the computed final CGPA, the following formula may be used. % of Marks = (final CGPA – 0.5) x 10
What this page will not do
Use the final CGPA of the completed programme. R22 requires CGPA ≥ 5.00 to pass the undergraduate degree, so values below 5 are flagged as out of range and still shown as arithmetic.
This page will not borrow VTU’s 0.75 offset or SPPU’s 8.9 multiplier. Those are different universities.
